By now you have probably heared of the top two key appointments in the incoming Trump administration, Reince Priebus -formerly of the RNC - as the Chief of Staff and Stephen Bannon - formerly of Breitbart - as Chief Strategist and Senior Counselor.
As is the case with everything to do with politics, the appointment of Priebus has been criticized by the tea-party/grassroots factions of the party, while praised by establishment figures. In contrast, the appointment of Bannon has had the opposite reaction, as it has been praised by the conservative, tea-party/grassroots factions of the republican party, while garnering sharp criticism by establishment republicans, progressives, and leftist, due to Bannons " alleged" Anti-Semitic leanings...
Apparently, Bannon is such a threat to society that the infamous Anti Defamation League - which "Officially" stays out of partisan politics, and apparently vowed to seek to work with Trump after his election - denouncing Bannon as an individual whose “hostile to American values.”

According to reporting by left leaning Jewish publication Forward, The American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) - which according to Forward, is "perhaps the leading face of the pro-Israel lobby" - is reportedly upset about the appointment, but has not expressed so publically. But while AIPAC was quiet about the appointment, Forward reported how there no shortage of critics who called on AIPAC to change its approach on the apperent issue...
Horowitz the founder of Students for Academic Freedom - an organization which opposes, what he believed to be political correctness and leftist orientation in academia, has an array of activities supporting and perpetuating a free speech, especially the pro-Israel voices on campuses around the nation - concluded in his op-ed that Bannon "does not have an Anti-Semitic bone in his body", and that he hopes Bannon will be a source of good counsel of conservative values to President-Elect Trump.
Of course, Horowitz is not the only one who has some nice things to say about Bannon, Joel Pollack an Orthodox Jew Republican nominee for U.S. Congress from Illinois's 9th congressional district, and senior-editor-at-large for Breitbart News Network has lots of nice things to say as well.
According to Pollack
According to Pollack,
All in all I think based on the evidence, we have little to worry about. Like I have stated in the countless times, Trump has a long past of being Pro-Israel, and Pro-Jewish. In fact, he keeps many Jews around his dealings, men and woman who have helped him throughout his business life and have assisted him in his many accomplishments. Lets not forget, he also has four Jewish grandchildren, and that is a good thing.

All in all, I would say trust in God, take a chill pill and get out the pop-corn, its going to be a great show...

We at @ADL_National oppose the appt of Steve Bannon to sr role at @WhiteHouse bc he & his alt-right are so hostile to core American values
Under Bannon, all these editorial decisions were made while the site’s traffic exploded. In Oct., Breitbart surpassed ABC News' web traffic pic.twitter.com/5CKsTwo5eH
Bannon, who since 2012, has been the executive chairman of Breitbart News LLC - a pro Israel alt-right news site called Breitbart, founded by the famed Jewish American conservative publisher Andrew Breitbart. - was favorite for the chief of staff position as Green party/ grassroot factions in the republican party, hoped President-Elect Trump would appoint an outsider to "Darin the swamp".
Just to put matters into perspective however, Brietbart is not exactly alt-right in the common usage of the word. Brietbart used to say that he was glad that he become a journalist because it gave him the opportunity to fight on behalf of the Israeli people... the Israeli people, who he adored and loved...
So what exactly was it that Bannon did to get this stigma - as an Anti Semite?
Well apparently it first has to do with alleged remarks by his ex-wife Mary Louise Piccard, who reportedly claimed during their divorce that Bannon did not want their daughters to attend private schools in Los Angeles because there were too many Jewish students there - their children ended up attending the school in spite of the alleged remarks.
And secondly, he allowed famed Jewish Conservative writer David Horowitz pen a scathing article of Billy Kristol of the Weekly Standard -the now infamous godfather of the #NeverTrumpers movement, called "Renegade Jew" a headline chosen by Horowitz exclusivly.
According to Horowitz, in a recent op-ed in defense of Bannon, horowitz felt that he could not
"think of anything stupider than the charge coming from all quarters of the left–including a headline in the pathetically wretched Huffington Post–that Bannon is an anti-Semite. The source? A one sentence claim from an angry ex-wife in divorce court no less, that Bannon didn’t want their kids to go to school with Jews. I find that particularly amusing since Bannon wanted to make a film to celebrate this Jew’s life" [that is David Horowitz].Horowitz, in his uncompromising style has no regrets, and claims that he would pen such an article once more in heart beat, this is due to the fact that Horowitz feels, correctly, that
Bill Kristol and his friends betrayed the Republican Party, betrayed the American people, and betrayed the Jews when he set out to undermine Trump and elect the criminal Hillary Clinton. Obama and Hillary are supporters of the Muslim Brotherhood, the organization that launched the Arab drive to destroy Israel and push its Jews into the sea (that was their slogan).
If Obama and Hillary had their way, Egypt’s leader al-Sisi would be overthrown, the Brotherhood would be back in power, and Israel would be facing a threat from the biggest military power in the Middle East - and almost certainly at war with Islamic terrorists who openly call for the extermination of the Jews.Apparently the leftists and their media surrogate would like to keep from you the truth, that indeed a seemingly "Anti-Semitic" remarks were in fact, not meant to be as such in the slightest, and were rather penned as an criticism of one Jew on another.

Without hesitation, Steve is a friend of the Jewish people and a defender of Israel, as well as being a passionate American patriot and a great leader.Additionally, Pollack also points out that Breitbart under the leadership of Bannon opened Breitbart Jerusalem (Helmed by famed conservative investigative reporter Aaron Klein)
According to Pollack,
Steve cares deeply about the fate of Jewish communities in America and throughout the world, a fact that is reflected in Breitbart News’ daily coverage. It was in that spirit that Steve joined Breitbart News CEO Larry Solov (also Jewish) in launching Breitbart Jerusalem last year, fulfilling Andrew’s dream of opening a bureau in Israel specifically to cover the region from an unabashedly Zionist perspective. [...] American Jews should see Steve’s appointment to a key White House role as a positive sign that President-elect Donald Trump intends to fulfill his promises on both domestic and foreign issues. But it gets better, Conservative writer Ben Shapiro - who has no love of Bannon for other reasons- wrote on his site the Daily Wire that he has
No evidence that Bannon’s a racist or that he’s an anti-Semite; the Huffington Post’s blaring headline “WHITE NATIONALIST IN THE WHITE HOUSE” is overstated, at the very least. So where does this leave us?
