Speaking of Editor at Large of Weekly Standard’s Bill Kristol, otherwise known, as an avid Never-Trumper, and whom I lovingly call a renegade Jew(...), posted a rather sanctimonious question on Twitter asking conservatives who are “rationalizing” Trump’s presidency if they know they are wrong.
Brit Hume replied to Kristol’s query by effectively noting that for Trump supporters, actions speak louder than words - no joke...
Anyway, the response prompted ABC News’ chief political analyst Matthew Dowd to pipe in, speaking of “values” as he asked if “words matter?” - which coming from an reporter is rich...
Thankfully, social media users were quick to agree with Hume’s assessment…
here’s a sampling of responses from Twitter:
@brithume @jtf18james This coming from a man, Bill Kristol who has been totally wrong on Trump from the beginning but keeps analyzing
@brithume @billkristol There is substance there. Kind of nice to have a common man (despite the $$) in WH for a change. Elitist much, Bill?
@Ziggyfan_1 @brithume @BillKristol One wonders when the last time Bill actually had a conversation with anyone in "fly over country"?
