Steven
Seriously? Since when did that stop Obama – or any other president for
that matter…
In
2008, President Obama won the election by approximately 7 percent of the
vote (a total of 69,498,516 votes from a grand total of 129,446,839), that’s not
exactly a mandate and yet, that did not stop him for "claiming a mandate
for his policies"… In fact, he pretty much shoved the Affordable Care
Act down our throats. In 2012 he Obama won by 3.9 percent of the vote (a total
of 65,915,796 votes from a grand total of 126,849,296), again not exactly a
mandate… Yet this so called lack of mandate did not stop the erosion of
religious liberty, the disastrous handling of national security, and
the infamous Iran deal…
So
with a Hillary win, there will be no mandate to appoint liberal judges? There will
be no mandate to undo the 2nd amendment, create failing foreign national
security policies, and leave allies like Israel to hang dry…
What
is it exactly that has blinded all of you so called pseudo intellectual - #NeverTrumpers. Am I meant to take you guys seriously, I am looking
at you Bret Stephens, when you profess that a democratic win will do good for
this country, or I might add, the Republican party – after all it will teach
people a lesson…
Ok I’ll
go out on a limb here, and take a step in your direction... Assuming your
right, and with Republican loss, we will just transition safely back to the pre
Trump days... Hmm let’s see, what days are those?
Well,
let me inform you, they currently represent infamous gridlock in
Washington DC with no progress in sight (i.e. a liberal president
constantly attacking a Congress - controlled by the Republicans, with 13%
approval rating - probably for being uncooperative nor showing true opposition).
We
all know, that our so called conservative Congress has also all but failed to
put a stop to Obama's disastrous agenda, including the protection of religious
liberty.
#NeverTrumpers
out there seem to have forgotten that a large portion of their voter base, that
is the main constituents of the Republican party, back Trump. It is as such
that I do you think this base is going to be pleased with your rebellion, do
you really think they will just fall in line and just recognize the error of
their ways?
Hardly,
this angry base, a base fed up with people like you. Sean Hannity is right, the
finger will be pointed in the direction of the foolish establishment snobs, who
thought they had it all figured out and knew better than the millions that they
rely on to keep their cushy jobs - while in truth – as Kurt Schlichter pointed
out - their base suffers.
Trust
me retribution will be swift, this base - pretty upset and feeling rather duped
by this whole ordeal - will punish the establishment, they will start out by
not coming out to vote for their local representatives and the rest will be history...
